The GM Fundraising Hope66 team includes 15 cyclists from the glazing, construction and related industries. Each rider will have spent almost a year training for this 2,616 mile marathon.

Supporting the cyclists will be a number of support crew who will provide the necessary and crucial back up for the arduous 14 days of cycling across the most famous road in the world.

The team will be Setting off from Chicago and will attempt to complete the journey in just 14 days to Santa Monica.

Riders will have to tackle temperatures in Arizona in excess of 40 degrees, the 8,000 ft height of roads in the Southern Rockies and high winds in Kansas.

GM Fundraising raise funds exclusively for Hope House Children’s Hospices and are determined to continue to support this most worthy of causes.
