It may now be April but some supporters of GM Fundraising never stop giving. This was recently illustrated when the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of PVC-U sliding sash windows Quickslide, donated their Christmas 2014 auction fundraising pot to the charity.
Quickslide’s Chairman and GM Fundraising Team Member Adrian Barraclough comments: “We held our annual charity auction and raffle at the company Christmas Dinner in late December and having gathered in all the funds, had to make a choice about where the substantial sum of almost £5000 would go. We all agreed there was no better place than the cause that’s close to my heart, GM Fundraising. I have to say though, raising this money during our Christmas party was a lot less daunting than the months of training we have coming up in preparation for the massive Border 2 Border 2016 challenge (due for official launch soon) and of course, more imminently the GM Football Fives industry competition on the 9th May. For those of you who haven’t yet submitted a team, please do so as soon as you can as places are filling fast.”
Gary Morton adds: “On behalf of the GMF, I would like to thank the very modest Adrian for the Quickslide donation – a further endorsement of his fervour to make a difference to others in life including in business and charity. So a huge thanks to you and your team Mr Barraclough.”
