GM Fundraising, which raises money for Hope House Children’s Hospices has just announced the appointment of Team 4 Marketing as its new PR partner.
Jane Ward, Director of Team 4 Marketing, said: “We are delighted to be supporting GM Fundraising because Hope House is such an incredibly worthwhile cause. We’re looking forward to supporting the team in its mission to raise as much money for the charity as possible.”
Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising, said: “It’s great news that Jane and the Team 4 team are partnering with us and I’m looking forward to working with them. A huge thanks should also go to Susie Sinden and the team at Brouha Marketing for their excellent PR support in recent years. Susie, in particular, has gone above and beyond as a team member and she will be sorely missed.”
Team 4 Marketing has joined GM Fundraising at an exciting time because 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the organisation. All the events throughout the year will have a silver jubilee theme.
GM Fundraising is best known for putting the ‘fun’ into fundraising, with its spectacular gala dinners, annual golf days, GMF Cup, Ryder Cup style golf event, long-distance cycle rides and footy fives competition. The most recent additions to its events calendar have been its ladies only event and next year’s challenge has just been announced. Called, Peak, Paddle, Pedal, it will see participants climb Snowdon, canoe a 150 mile stretch of the River Severn and cycle 150 miles back to Hope House in Oswestry all in eight days.
Since it was established in 1995, GM Fundraising has raised almost £2 million for Hope House Children’s Hospices, which provides palliative care for children with terminal conditions and support for their families, both on site and in their homes. Over 95% of Hope House’s £5 million annual operating costs are met through charitable donations and GM Fundraising is its largest single donor.
Team 4 Marketing was founded in 2004 and offers PR and marketing services across the fenestration, construction and manufacturing sectors. Jane concluded: “Everyone at Team 4 has admired the efforts of GM Fundraising and its volunteers for many years. We looking forward to working with them.”
