Back at our favourite venue of Telford Golf and Country Club, the 15th GM Fundraising Golf Day took place on 5th July 2018.

The course – where Ian Woosnam won his first professional tournament – is one of the most spectacular in Shropshire, offering 6741 yards of magnificent golf, along tree-lined fairways, through open greens and over strategic water hazards. The signature 8th hole is a 382 yard par 4. A good drive is needed to ensure the safety of the fairway avoiding the two bunkers. You must then negotiate the water hazard in order to reach the safety of the green – simple!

The event raised £43,044.
