Thermoseal Group has donated £5,000 to GM Fundraising, raised from their event held at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which saw 10 pairs from the industry travel over to Belgium to enjoy a track day, racing their own cars around the iconic Formula 1 racetrack.
Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising comments: “Thank you to everyone at Thermoseal Group and all those who attended the event for their generous donation. I was overwhelmed when I received a call from Gwain Paterson out of the blue, explaining they would like to donate all the proceeds from their ‘bucket list’ event to GM Fundraising. I actually started my industry career at Thermoseal many years ago, and my brother-in-law still works there today. I started there selling machinery, and since then the group has become one of the leading suppliers dedicated to Insulated Glass. This personal connection only made the donation all the more special. When influential brands such as Thermoseal Group recognise the work the team at GM Fundraising do with this kind of generosity, it is remarkable. Thank you to everyone involved in the day.
Gwain Paterson, MD of Thermoseal Group adds: “We have followed the great work GM Fundraising do raising money for the children and families at Hope House Children’s Hospices, which is a truly worthy cause and we recognise them as the industry’s charity. We have enjoyed many GM Fundraising events over the years, so when it came to nominating a charity to benefit from the Spa event, GM Fundraising was the obvious choice.”
Gary concludes: “Once again, a huge thank you to all at Thermoseal Group and everyone that took part in the event.”
